so what about it?. yeah... we've got the rave board which is all cool and that, but was thinking along the lines of a board just to congratulate people on birthdays, anniversiries, stuff like that. :d. kind of like someone suggested ages ago we have a memorial board where all the topics for david bill etc go, in their own diffrent category. thaughts?

I def think this is a good idea, a board where certain things can be posteed, in their own category. I was sort of thinking the same thing when I was reading the board on bill, how we should have a topic on zoners who have passed, or zoners who have lost a loved one.

but here's my thing and I'm not the only one who will say this most likely, we do not need to create a board for everything under the sun. if you the remember the ZBBS in person board, that only had like seven topics in it for the entire time it was here and is now in the archives

Agreed with the last poster. We can't create a separate forum for everything.

Why don't we just put a sub-board in the Rave board? Or, we could just creat a topic in the rave board?

Post 6 by Q (Take my advice, I'm not using it anyhow.) on Saturday, 10-Jan-2009 2:43:27

Personally I think that this would be unnecessary. If you need to congratulate someone, create a new topic in the rave board, simple as that, really.

i agree with Brook and Q. seriously, i think the admins and cl's have enough work to do around here with the boards they do already have, without creating boards for everything imaginable.

wow, i honestly though it would be useful, even if we just went for the memorial board idea. something special to the zone, you know?

Congratulations on another lame idea.

Post 10 by Albanac (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Saturday, 10-Jan-2009 11:54:40

It would be overkill Daniel, they are right. For things like birthdays "let's talk" is good enough. Major congratulations, yep, as everyone has said, the Rave board. I personally like the idea of a memorial board, but can also see how "let's talk" can be used for that. Just my $0.02 on the matter.

Cheers,
Simon

I still want a board just for me, where I can bitch and moan and whine, where noone else can contradict me, or say I'm wrong insensative or an asshole.
If we're going to have people wanting a board for just about every topic there is, so it will begin to take as long to silect the right place to post, as it does to actually post, then Please Admin, let me? I beg of thee, just for once let me have what I desire like all the other special requests you do grant for the special people. Don't you think i'm just as special in my own little way, and so am worthy of what I desire? Pretty please?

Roflmaoooo Kev..
I agree with Q and the other posters....Lets just talk can be used for the mamorial., and some of the other places can be used for the congrajulations board...

i think we need a boy gossip board and a girl one. o and a gossip for the states and for the UK board.
i'd rather have a board where i can call you a bastard kev.
its another suck up board then you want time keeper, why don't we call it the false suck up board???

Lmao kev and joe

i like that idea, very good. :). would make some of the zoners feel more open, talking with other girls/ boys, or people from the same country

Becky and Kevin, you guys crack me up. But seriously, TimeKeeper, I do agree with some of these others: I think congratulations can go in the Rave board, or Let's Talk, or such places. I personally think we've already got more boards than we need.

Post 17 by admin (I just keep on posting!) on Monday, 12-Jan-2009 0:57:07

What about a congratulations graffiti topic? Like I said on another topic, we'll create as many boards as necessary, as long as they look like a board that will be used and they aren't already represented.

Post 18 by Blondie McConfusion (Blah Blah Blah) on Monday, 12-Jan-2009 18:47:29

lol kevin and becky y'all amuse me.
what's the point of this board or putting it in graffiti either. i read the boards on a pretty regular basis and i've only seen one topic started about a birthday or the likes. and it is one i created. i don't see it being used in either the boards or graffiti. my thoughts that in graffiti it'll turn into another gossip/annonymous/whatever type board and not really be used for its true purpose.
when there is someone i'd like to say happy birthday to, i do it in a pqn or private message. i feel it's a bit more personal and means more that way in my opinion.
just my thoughts.

Post 19 by Blue Velvet (I've got the platinum golden silver bronze poster award.) on Monday, 12-Jan-2009 20:29:54

I agree total with Pipi. You can say happy birthday to someone, and it means more than if people post to a board about your birthday just because they are trying to earn the golden poster award.

Post 20 by Shadow_Cat (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Tuesday, 13-Jan-2009 18:50:52

JJ, I agree with these others that a graffiti topic isn't really any more necessary than a board one is. There are already graffiti topics for everything under the sun.

Post 21 by Q (Take my advice, I'm not using it anyhow.) on Wednesday, 14-Jan-2009 2:22:54

And I agree with the last 3 posters as well.
And, to post 19, lol.
